From the World Health Organization (WHO) International Classification of Diseases (ICD)
This webpage gives a description of the diagnostic tool
known as ICD. ICD-10 came into use in WHO Member States starting in 1994. The
United States adopted its use in October 2015. WHO plans to release ICD-11 in
2018.
